The 49ers signed Martin to their practice squad Wednesday, Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Martin was waived by the 49ers on Tuesday but will rejoin the team in an unsurprising move. He's bounced on and off the team's active roster in each of the last two seasons, appearing in three total games while playing primarily on special teams.
