Mitchell (undisclosed) is inactive Sunday against the Chargers, Brooks Kubena of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Mitchell cleared the COVID-19 protocols Saturday, but he didn't practice during the week so his absence is not surprising. He should be able to return to action next week on the road against the 49ers if he's able to practice fully in the coming days.
