Tino Ellis: Gets cut loose

Ellis (undisclosed) was waived by the Dolphins with an injury designation Monday.

Ellis will revert to IR upon clearing waivers and potentially miss the entirety of the 2023 campaign. However, if he reaches an injury settlement with the team, he'll be able to pursue other opportunities. The 25-year-old did exactly that last season and ultimately ended up on Miami's practice squad in October.
