Hooker has had a strong start to camp and is expected to take on an increased role this season, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Hooker is expected to start as the team's strong safety after Kenny Vaccaro was released during the offseason. He's taken to the role well early in camp and drew strong reviews for his play Friday. In addition to intercepting a pass, Hooker also played the run well and was active in coverage against tight ends. Hooker played 446 snaps on the defensive side of the ball in 2020 and figures to easily surpass that mark this season.
