Titans' Julio Jones: Headed for game-time call

Titans head coach Mike Vrabel said Tuesday that Jones (hamstring) will likely be a game-time decision for Thursday's game against the 49ers, John Glennon of SI.com reports.

Jones logged just 26 snaps and drew one target in Sunday's loss to the Steelers before departing with a hamstring issue that cost him the remainder of the game. With the Colts bearing down on the Titans for the AFC South crown, the coaching staff will surely want to have Jones on the field Thursday if possible, but the veteran wideout likely won't be pushed to play unless he's close to 100 percent, given the multiple hamstring-related setbacks he's dealt with this season. According to Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site, Jones was in uniform for Tuesday's practice, but he didn't take part in drills during the portion of the session that was open to the media.
