Ty Montgomery: Let go by Patriots

The Patriots released Montgomery on Tuesday.

With J.J. Taylor and Kevin Harris also having been cut by the team Tuesday, Rhamondre Stevenson and Ezekiel Elliott are temporarily the only running backs on the team's 53-man roster. Look for some more moves to arrive in the coming days, and with that in mind it's possible that Montgomery could rejoin the mix once the cut-down dust settles.
