Ty Shelby: Waived/injured Tuesday

Shelby (groin) was waived with an injury designation by the Chargers on Tuesday, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.

Shelby picked up a groin injury earlier this week, likely leading the Chargers to drop him ahead of Tuesday's 80-man roster deadline. The undrafted rookie will likely revert to the team's injured reserve, upon clearing waivers.
