Mannion (illness) was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Friday and is expected to start Sunday against the Packers, Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com reports.
Mannion tested positive for the virus last week and missed Week 16 while on the COVID-19 list, but he's now back on the active roster. It's fortuitous timing for the Vikings, as starter Kirk Cousins tested positive earlier Friday and is out for this weekend. Mannion is expected to start in Cousins' place in what will be his first game action since 2019.
