Floyd (knee) is expected to start the 2017 season on the physically unable to perform list, Matt Vensel of The Star Tribune reports.
Floyd -- who's making slow and steady progress in his recovery from nerve damage suffered during September knee surgery -- missed out on the entirety of the Vikings' offseason program and seemingly has little to no chance of making it back for training camp or the preseason. Although him landing on the PUP list is currently the expectation, he could ultimately end up on injured reserve if Minnesota management isn't optimistic about his progress after the season's first six weeks.
