Justin Jefferson is expected to emerge over Sharpe for a Week 1 starting job, Andrew Krammer of the Star Tribune reports.
Sharpe was penciled in as Minnesota's No. 2 wide receiver after signing a one-year, $1 million contract in late March, but there was never any question the team would add more talent at his position. Jefferson is a first-round pick coming off an 18-touchdown season at LSU, while Sharpe is a 2016 fifth-round selection who averaged 24.8 receiving yards in 47 games with the Titans the past four years. The two may duke it out for a starting job in training camp, but Jefferson will have the edge if it's close.
