Welcome to our final edition of Fantasy Trade Values for 2014. And while the time to recap the season will come after Week 17 (just one of many reasons to stick around once the offseason begins), it's worth spending a little time to see who's values rose the most and fell the most between Week 2 and now.
The player who made the biggest jump while remaining on the chart -- and actually going down before rocketing up -- was Tom Brady. Surrounded by an inferior offensive line and without a downfield threat to help shake up defenses, Brady was pummeled in Kansas City in Week 4 and looked like a lost cause. Dating back to 2013 he had gone without 20 Fantasy points in 14 of his last 20 regular-season games.
You know what happened next. Gronk happened next. Brandon LaFell happened next. Timothy Wright happened next. The offensive line got their collective rears in gear. And Brady made the biggest Trade Values jump -- 18 points -- to become one of the hottest commodities in Fantasy.
The only other player to make a jump that big is Denard Robinson, who went from waiver-wire material to an 18-point running back in this week's chart. Andrew Luck went from 19 to 35, Mike Evans went from 8 to a ridiculous 23 and T.Y. Hilton went from 15 to 29.
The player who made the biggest drop had a path virtually opposite of Brady's -- Giovani Bernard went up through the first five weeks of the season to a huge 31 on the chart before bottoming out because of injury and because of teammate Jeremy Hill. Bernard might have shown that he can't hold up at running back for 20-plus touches per week, and even if he could, Hill has played very well in two of three games without him. This week Bernard checks in at 14, a drastic 17-point difference from where he was going into Week 5. Bernard still has value and can be started in most leagues but he'll be lucky to get 15 touches moving forward.
There were a bunch of players who went from high spots on the chart to off the list completely, the biggest of which was Montee Ball. The outlook was excellent and the potential was great, but Ball couldn't piece together enough good runs before hurting his groin and losing his spot to Ronnie Hillman starting in Week 6.

Off the list
Our Trade Values are designed to help you in making fair trades in your standard-scoring or PPR leagues. The values assigned to the players below are a long-term measurement of their Fantasy value. By adding two players' values you could determine what one player you might be able to get in return. This list should also work as a "Rest of Season" rankings. Note: This is the last Trade Values we will release this season.
