The Dolphins waived Vandenburgh (leg) with an injury designation Monday.
Vandenburgh suffered a leg injury during Miami's preseason opener against Atlanta but managed to return for Saturday's win over Washington, when he was again injured in the fourth quarter. He stands to revert to season-ending IR if he goes unclaimed while on waivers.
