Rubin is not expected to play Sunday against Dallas since he just signed Friday, Mike Klis of 9 News Denver reports. Rubin is expected to help add depth to the battered defensive front in Denver. It is unclear how much the Broncos will use Rubin when he is active, but it's unlikely he'll be summoned enough to be an IDP threat.
Rubin signed with the Broncos on Friday, Mike Klis of 9 News Denver reports. Rubin was most recently let go by the Seahawks prior to the start of the regular season and shortly following the acquisition of Sheldon Richardson. With Broncos defensive end Jared Crick potentially headed for injured reserve with a back injury, Rubin will help shore up some of their depth on the defensive line.
Rubin was released by the Seahawks on Saturday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. After failing to trade him following the acquisition of Sheldon Richardson, Rubin has been released. The move may free up time for the likes of Rodney Coe and/or Tylor Harris at left defensive tackle.
Rubin (wrist) does not appear on the Seahawks' injury report Wednesday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Rubin sprained his wrist in Saturday's game versus the Cardinals so his absence from the injury report Wednesday evidences the injury likely isn't serious. Barring some sort of setback, Rubin appears in line to be ready for the Seahawks' season finale Sunday versus the Niners.
Rubin sprained his wrist in Saturday's loss to Arizona, Liz Mathews of ESPN reports. Rubin missed time on Saturday due to his sprained wrist and his status for Week 17 remains on clear. His ability to practice this week will provide greater insight in to his availability for Sunday's regular season finale against the 49ers. John Jenkins and Jarran Reed will figure to see increased roles if Rubin is sidelined.
