Morgan recorded three tackles (two solo) and one sack in Sunday's win over the Jaguars. His stat line was the exact same as his total in Week 1, so the veteran is off to a consistent start to the year. He saw the field on 46 snaps (69 percent) and figures to continue seeing a similar workload going forward. He will look to continue his sack streak to start the season next week against the Seahawks and their sketchy offensive line.
Morgan recorded five tackles in Sunday's season finale against the Texans. Morgan finishes the 2016 campaign with 33 tackles and a career-high 9.0 sacks. Fellow outside linebacker Brian Orakpo added 10.5 sacks on the other side, as the two pass rushers formed one of the most effective tandems in the league. Rookie Kevin Dodd was supposed to play in a rotation with Orakpo and Morgan, but foot injuries and ineffectiveness prevented him from sapping many snaps. Morgan will be a major component of Tennessee's defense next season after racking up at least six sacks in four of the past five campaigns.
Morgan recorded 1.5 sacks and four tackles Sunday against the Colts. Morgan has been on fire, as evidenced by his recording at least a sack in six of his last seven games. He now has eight sacks over those seven games, and he's been an elite IDP option after a slow start to the season.
Morgan had four solo tackles and two sacks Sunday in Miami. Morgan was one of three Titans to sack Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill along with Jurrell Casey and Brian Orakpo. The hamstring injury that had been limiting the outside linebacker earlier in the season finally seems to be behind him.
Morgan (hamstring) will play Sunday against the Raiders. Morgan has been nursing a hamstring injury which kept him out of Week 2's loss to the Falcons. He could see his snap counted limited because of the injury, so look for Kevin Dodd, David Bass, and Aaron Wallace to see more action than usual.
