  • Broncos' Von Miller: Eyes 20-sack campaign
    By RotoWire Staff

Miller's goals include 20 sacks in 2019 and, eventually, the all-time sack record, Nicki Jhabvala of The Athletic Denver reports. On one hand, what is Miller supposed to say, that he wants to take it easy this year? Perhaps the more interesting element of the story is head coach Vic Fangio's response -- saying that Miller can reach his goals if he does the little things right in preparation. That can be read as either tempering expectations or maybe even a shot at Miller or the former coaching staff. Either way, given his influence on the likes of Khalil Mack and Aldon Smith in his previous stops, it will be interesting to see how Fangio tries to get the most out of Miller and his counterpart Bradley Chubb in 2019.

  • Broncos' Von Miller: Adding weight for 2019
    By RotoWire Staff

Miller is up to 245 pounds this offseason after playing between 236 and 238 in 2018, Troy Renck of Denver7 ABC reports. "It's not really about get off, speed, getting hurt, agility or movement. It's when you get locked up with an offensive lineman and what you are able to do with that," Miller said. "At 245 you can go a little further with that. It's not a lot, but I need that 10 pounds." Miller weighed 246 pounds at the 2011 combine and has been listed at 250 for most of his career. It's a bit surprising to hear how light he was last season while piling up 48 tackles (29 solo), 14.5 sacks, four forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries and an interception in 16 games. Regardless of his weight, Miller faces a soft transition under new coach Vic Fangio, who has an impressive history of success as a defensive coordinator using a 3-4 scheme. The 30-year-old pass rusher spent the past four seasons in a 3-4 defense, landing between 10.0 and 14.5 sacks each year, though his tackle numbers have been inconsistent. Miller plans to keep his weight between 245 and 248 pounds.

  • Broncos' Von Miller: Continues productive ways
    By RotoWire Staff

Miller produced 48 tackles, 14.5 sacks, three pass breakups, one interception, four forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries over 16 games in 2018. Despite the underwhelming collective performance of the Broncos defense, Miller had himself another strong season en route to Pro Bowl and second-team All-Pro honors -- which marks the seventh time in eight career seasons in which Miller has been both nominated to the Pro Bowl and made either first- or second-team All-Pro. Miller now begins his foray into his 30s in 2019, but there's no reason to think he's slowing down anytime soon. In fact, there's optimism for Miller to build upon his 2018 campaign with a new head coach in town, Vic Fangio, who coordinated the league's top scoring defense with Chicago this past season.

  • Broncos' Von Miller: Invited to Orlando
    By RotoWire Staff

Miller, along with teammate Phillip Lindsay, has made the Pro Bowl, Ryan O'Halloran of The Denver Post reports. Overshadowed by Denver's collective struggles has been that Miller already has the second most sacks in a season in his career, 14.5 through 14 games. He has some work to do to even match 2012's 18.5, but he has a great opportunity to eat into the gap Sunday against an Oakland offense surrendering the third most sacks in the league at 3.4 per game.

  • Broncos' Von Miller: Notches sack in sixth straight
    By RotoWire Staff

Miller recorded two solo tackles and a sack in Saturday's 17-16 loss to Cleveland. Miller now has a sack in eight of his last nine games and continues to demonstrate why he's one of the elite defensive players in the game. The 29-year-old's 14 total sacks on the year are the most he's had since 2014. He still has an outside shot at his career-high of 18 and will seek to keep chipping away at the mark Week 16 at Oakland.
