  • Eagles' Najee Goode: Re-signs with Eagles

    Goode re-signed with the Eagles on a one-year deal Wednesday, Aaron Kasinitz of PennLive.com reports. Goode played in all 16 games in 2016, recording 10 combined tackles and providing solid coverage as a special teams player. If he is able to ultimately make the Eagles' 53-man roster at the end of the preseason, he should find himself in a similar special teams role this coming campaign.

  • Eagles place three on IR Tuesday

    The Eagles placed offensive lineman Allen Barbre (ankle) and linebacker Najee Goode (pectoral) on injured reserve Tuesday. Guard Evan Mathis (knee) was also placed on injured reserve with a designation to return.

    The Eagles have ruled CB Brandon Boykin, LB Najee Goode, LB Mychal Kendricks, WR Brad Smith and S Earl Wolff as probable Week 16 against the Bears. Both Goode and Smith are dealing with hamstring injuries. Kendricks and Wolff are trying to get over knee issues. Boykin has a concussion.

    The Eagles have listed QB Matt Barkley, S Earl Wolff, CB Curtis Marsh, RB Matthew Tucker, LB Najee Goode, OL Matt Tobin and OL Dennis Kelly as inactive Week 15 against the Vikings. Both Wolff and Goode were listed as doubtful on the team's injury report Friday. The other five players are healthy scratches.
