  • Pierre-Paul (shoulder) will play Sunday against the 49ers, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports. Pierre-Paul has been inconsistent this season, but his average of 4.5 tackles per game is good for a defensive end. Still, fantasy owners would likely appreciate a surge of sacks from Pierre-Paul, and he'll have a good opportunity to do that against 49ers quarterback C.J. Beathard, who has been sacked on nine percent of his dropbacks, ranking 28th in the league.

  • Giants' Jason Pierre-Paul: Dominates the Broncos
    By RotoWire Staff

Pierre-Paul had one of the best games of his career Sunday night with eight tackles (seven solo) and three sacks in a 23-10 win over the Broncos. Pierre-Paul is completely healthy and apparently unhampered by his damaged hand. He's an excellent IDP defensive lineman due to his ability to rack up tackles as well as sacks.

  • Giants' Jason Pierre-Paul: Cleared to play Sunday
    By RotoWire Staff

Pierre-Paul (shoulder) is active for Sunday's game against the Chargers. As expected, Pierre-Paul will be cleared to take the field in Week 5, though it's uncertain if he'll be in line for a full slate of snaps while he manages the shoulder injury. Even at less than 100 percent health, Pierre-Paul is still capable of getting after the passer better than most on the Giants roster, so his availability in any capacity is certainly welcome.

  • Pierre-Paul (shoulder) is expected to play Sunday in the Giants' game against the Chargers, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Having Pierre-Paul available for the Week 5 matchup will take on more importance than usual for the Giants, who are unlikely to have fellow defensive end Olivier Vernon (ankle) on hand to aid the team's pass rush. Even if he's able to steer clear of any setbacks during pregame warmups, however, Pierre-Paul could see a reduction in his snap count this week as he plays at less-than-full strength, which would pave the way for Romeo Okwara and Kerry Wynn to pick up more playing time.

  • Pierre-Paul (shoulder) did not practice Thursday but said he will play in Sunday's game against the Chargers, Kimberly Jones of NFL Network reports. Pierre-Paul has not practiced either of the last two days, but the defensive end remains confident that he'll be on the field for Sunday's contest. He'll continue to be evaluated over the next couple of days before a final decision is made, so consider Pierre-Paul a game-time decision until an official update is provided.
