Johnson (knee) returned to practice Monday, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports. Johnson has missed the last two weeks trying to get back to 100 percent. Being that he's returned to practice, it's safe to assume that he's healthy again. Whether that means he's at full strength is another matter altogether, but the fact that he's out there is a good sign for Cleveland and enough for us to assume he'll be ready for the season opener.
Johnson (knee) sat out Thursday's practice, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports. Johnson has yet to appear in a game this preseason, a trend that will likely continue when the Browns face Tampa Bay on Saturday. The defensive end is coming off a 32-tackle season and is expected to provide depth behind Myles Garrett.
Johnson will sit out Monday's preseason matchup against the Giants due to a knee issue, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports. Johnson was previously slowed down by a groin injury, but it's his knee that now appears to be bothering him. The 27-year-old is expected to serve as the top backup to No. 1 overall pick Myles Garrett this season.
Johnson (groin) is inactive Sunday against the Steelers. Johnson did not make an appearance in practice this week, so not surprisingly, the fourth-year linebacker will take a seat for Sunday's season finale. Look for Joe Schobert to pick up extra snaps in his stead.
Johnson (groin) is questionable to play in Sunday's season finale versus the Steelers. Johnson wasn't at practice this week and seems highly unlikely to suit up for Sunday's game. If he's ultimately ruled out, look for Joe Schobert to take his place in the starting lineup.
