  • Harris intercepted Bears quarterback Mike Glennon and returned it for a 50-yard score for Denver's first points of the game in Thursday's preseason tilt against the Bears. As it has over the past two seasons, Denver's defense will be relied on to generate some points as a result of the team's shaky quarterback situation. Often overshadowed by Aqib Talib -- an all-time great at returning interceptions for touchdowns -- Harris is finally garnering national attention and demonstrated Thursday that he can also be dynamic with the ball in his hands.

Harris recorded two tackles, three passes defended and a pick in Thursday's win over Carolina. It's unclear how long he'll remain out but he should be expected back in full any day.

  • Broncos' Chris Harris: Back to full health
    By RotoWire Staff

Harris' shoulder is back to full health, Cameron Wolfe of the Denver Post reports. Harris played through a deep tissue bruise and was less than 100 percent in both the AFC championship game and the Super Bowl. He has since confirmed that he's completely recovered from the injury, and it will not limit him in offseason training or into training camp, where Harris is sure to start at corner, along with Aqib Talib.
