  • Coach Zac Taylor said Monday that he's optimistic that Waynes (hamstring) will be able to return for Thursday's matchup against the Jaguars, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic reports. Waynes has missed the first three games of the season due to a hamstring injury that he dealt with during camp, but he returned to practice last week and is trending in the right direction. Once the 29-year-old is cleared to return, he's expected to take on a starting role in Cincinnati's secondary.
