Hogan (ribs/knee) was listed as limited on Monday's practice estimate, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports. Hogan was on the field for 51 of the Jets' 64 snaps on offense in Sunday's loss to the Colts, but didn't haul in any of his three targets in the game. With no injury setbacks reported, it's likely that his listed limitations Monday are maintenance-related as the Jets prepare for Thursday night's game against the Broncos.
Hogan failed to haul in any of his three targets in Sunday's 36-7 loss to the Colts. Perhaps Hogan was still bothered by the rib injury that forced him out of last week's loss, but he gutted it out with all of New York's other injuries at the wide receiver position. Whatever the reason, he posted a goose egg here, further cementing the belief that nobody on New York's offense can be trusted in fantasy with the team struggling mightily in all facets at the moment. Hogan has nowhere to go but up when the Broncos come to town for Thursday Night Football in Week 4.
Hogan (ribs) practiced fully Friday and doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Colts, Ralph Vacchiano of SNY.tv reports. Finally a bit of good news amid the Jets' slew of injuries. Hogan's set for an expanded role Week 3 as the last man standing in a receiving corps that will be missing Breshad Perriman (ankle), Jamison Crowder (hamstring) and Denzel Mims (hamstring), and could be be without Braxton Berrios (hamstring) as well.
Hogan (ribs) will remain limited at practice Thursday, Ralph Vacchiano of SportsNet New York reports. Hogan, who hauled in six of his eight targets for 75 yards in Week 2's loss to the 49ers, evidently avoided a serious rib issue coming out of that game. He'll be needed this weekend to handle plenty of snaps along with Braxton Berrios, given that Breshad Perriman (ankle) and Jamison Crowder (hamstring) are both trending toward missing Sunday's game against the Colts.
Hogan (ribs) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Andrew Walker of the Colts' official site reports. The injury tentatively muddles Hogan's status for Sunday's game in Indianapolis, but assuming he's able to move past the issue by the end of the week, he'll likely be in line to serve as the Jets' top receiver. Both Breshad Perriman (ankle) and Jamison Crowder (hamstring) missed practice with their respective injuries and don't look to be trending in the right direction for the Week 3 matchup.
