Schobert, who finished with 12 tackles (9 solo) during Cleveland's Week 17 loss to the Steelers, ends 2017 with a team-high 144 tackles, three sacks, three forced fumbles and one interception. Schobert was thrust into a starter's role after linebacker Tank Carder (knee) tore his ACL before the season began, and the Wisconsin product was one of the stars on Cleveland's defense. He finished seventh in the NFL in tackles, and with Carder set to be an unrestricted free agent, Schobert should once again be an excellent IDP option in 2018.
Schobert finished with a team-high 12 tackles (seven solo) and a sack during Sunday's 19-10 loss to the Chargers. Schobert now was three straight games with at least 10 sacks and continues to pace his team in tackles. He was also able to bring down Philip Rivers, and the 24-year-old now has 2.5 sacks on the year.
Schobert finished with six tackles (five solo) and a sack during Sunday's 38-24 loss to the Lions. After posting three consecutive games of double-digit tackle totals, Schobert fell back to earth against the Lions. The 2nd-year linebacker out of Wisconsin did manage to bring down Matthew Stafford, and now has a team-high 77 tackles and 1.5 sacks.
Schobert racked up nine tackles (five solo) in Sunday's loss to the Titans. Schobert has consistently been posting high tackle counts, so he can be counted on in most fantasy formats, especially since the Browns' stagnant offense rarely wins time of possession battles.
Schobert recorded 11 tackles (four solo) during Sunday's 31-7 loss to the Bengals. Schobert played all 64 defensive snaps Sunday and now leads the Browns with 34 total tackles on the season, as the 23-year-old is quietly becoming a reliable linebacker in IDP leagues.
