Henry (abdomen) will not play in Sunday's game against the Broncos, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports. Henry continues to recover from sports hernia surgery undergone during the offseason. The second-year defensive lineman should be considered week-to-week, and Brandon Williams will once again receive an increased defensive role in Week 3 while Henry remains sidelined. When Henry is eventually able to get healthy, he's in line to slot in as a key defensive piece for Baltimore.
Henry (sports hernia) will not suit up against the Bengals on Thursday, freelance NFL writer Jeff Zrebiec reports. Henry is still recovering from offseason sports hernia surgery and remains week-to-week. The second-year defensive lineman looks in line for a key defensive role whenever he does recover, but Brandon Williams will remain the uncontested starter at Baltimore's right defensive end position for the time being.
Henry turned in another impressive practice Tuesday, Garrett Downing of the team's official site reports. The Michigan product spent his rookie season on injured reserve, but Henry has hit the ground running since the start of camp. Henry (6-foot-3, 300 pounds) was a disruptive player in college, racking up 10.0 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks from the defensive interior in his final season in Ann Arbor. Baltimore is deep along the defensive line, but Henry can help his cause towards locking down a starting role if he continues to make waves on the practice field.
Henry (undisclosed) was waived by the Ravens on Monday. Henry spent his rookie season in 2016 buried on the depth chart, eventually landing on injured reserve before logging a single snap. The young cornerback will be looking to catch on with another team and make his regular season debut in 2017. He's unlikely to be any more than a depth player wherever he signs, and may end up as a practice squad player in his second year.
Henrey (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's tilt with the Giants. The rookie remains on the inactive list as a coach's decision. The Ravens will be limited to Michael Pierce and Brent Urban for reserve defensive lineman.
