Hargrave recorded four tackles (one solo) including a half sack during Sunday's 24-17 loss to Denver. Ranked eighth among all defensive tackles with 5.5 sacks this season, Hargrave will look to add to that total in Week 13 against the Chargers, who have allowed just 16 sacks this season but seven of those in the last two games.
Hargrave recorded six tackles (all solo) during Thursday's 52-21 win over Carolina. This was the most tackles in a game for the third-year nose tackle, who now has 27 tackles on the season. He needs just six more tackles this season to exceed his career-best total of 32 tackles last season. He faces Jacksonville in Week 11.
Hargrave had two tackles (both solo), including a sack in Pittsburgh's 23-17 overtime loss to Chicago on Sunday. Hargrave now has two sacks through his first three games this season, matching his total for all of 2016. He could add to that total in Week 4 against the Ravens, who allowed the Steelers to record five sacks in their two games last season.
Hargrave (concussion) doesn't appear on Wednesday's injury report. Hargrave exited the Steelers' second exhibition with a suspected concussion, but his absence from Wednesday's report suggests that's no longer a concern. The 2016 third-rounder projects to start at nose tackle this season and seems poised to improve upon the 27 tackles he notched in his rookie year.
Hargrave (concussion) wasn't listed on the Steelers' injury report Wednesday. Hargrave was forced to sit out a bit in Week 17 to be tested for a concussion but in the end he was cleared and it won't force him to miss any time going forward. He'll be expected to start in Sunday's game against Miami.
