  • Seahawks' Luke Willson: Ready to play Week 17
    By RotoWire Staff

Willson (ankle) is active for Sunday's game against the Cardinals. Willson suffered a minor ankle sprain in Thursday's practice that prevented him from taking part in Friday's session. While Willson could be a tad hindered by the injury in Week 17, he's normally relegated to blocking duties anyway. He hasn't caught more than three passes or surpassed 30 receiving yards in a game since Week 3.

  • Seahawks' Luke Willson: Questionable for Sunday
    By RotoWire Staff

Willson (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. According to Boyle, Willson suffered a minor sprain in Thursday's practice that forced him to sit out Friday's session. The 27-year-old's status for Sunday's contest seems likely to be determined in pregame warmups.

  • Willson was a limited participant at the Seahawks' practice Thursday with an ankle injury, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Willson was a new addition to the injury report Thursday, but his limited participation suggests the injury isn't overly serious. Friday's practice session should provide a better idea of the 27-year-old's potential availability for the regular-season finale.

  • Willson caught one of two targets for 26 yards in a loss to the Rams on Sunday. Tight ends are pretty much an afterthought in the Seattle offense -- even Jimmy Graham doesn't do much between the 20s. Unless Graham gets hurt, Willson isn't likely to see more than 2-3 targets per game.

  • Seahawks' Luke Willson: Clears protocol
    By RotoWire Staff

Willson (concussion) isn't listed on the Seahawks' injury report ahead of Sunday's game against the Eagles, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune reports. Willson's full practices Thursday and Friday made it likely that he would be able to play Sunday, but his lack of an injury designation heading into the weekend implies that he cleared all phases of the concussion protocol. He'll serve in his usual role as the top backup to starting tight end Jimmy Graham (ankle).
