  • Williams has checked out of the hospital and returned to Lucas Oil Stadium after suffering a concussion, Andrew Walker of the Colts' official site reports. Head coach Chuck Pagano added that Williams is doing well, which is great news considering how severe the injury looked at first. With the Colts well out of playoff contention and Williams having a history of spinal injuries, it would not be at all surprising to see the team be extremely cautious with the tight end for the rest of the season.

  • Williams is out for the rest of Thursday's game against the Broncos due to a head injury, Andrew Walker of the Colts' official site reports. Williams left on a stretcher in the first half in what was a very scary scene. Thankfully, the tight end has movement in his limbs and the Colts are describing the injury has a head injury, with no reported damage to the neck according to Zach Keefer of the Indianapolis Star. This is important, as Williams has a preexisting spinal condition that cost him his collegiate career at the University of Oregon.

  • Williams suffered a spinal injury and was carted off the field Thursday against the Broncos, Mike Chappell of IndySportsCentral.com reports. Williams was on punt coverage and suffered helmet-to-helmet contact and spent several minutes on the ground before ultimately being taken off in a stretcher. The reserve tight end has had a history of spinal issues. In his absence, expect Ross Travis and Jason Vander Laan to see increased reps.

  • Williams (thumb) doesn't appear on the Colts' injury report ahead of Sunday's game against the Titans. Williams exited the Week 10 game against the Steelers after hurting his right thumb, but the Colts' bye week allowed him to recover from the issue. The backup tight end has corralled nine of 11 targets for 102 yards through 10 contests on the season.

  • Williams had two receptions for 20 yards on two targets in Sunday's 20-14 win at Houston. Williams has 11 targets in nine games, as he has a minor role in a struggling passing game. He won't be a viable player in most fantasy leagues unless Jack Doyle misses time.
