Hall signed a contract with the Eagles on Tuesday. Hall's spot on the 53-man roster comes following the placement of Josh Sweat (ankle) on injured reserve. The 2017 third-round pick will serve a depth role in Philadelphia's defensive line.
Hall was waived by the Texans on Saturday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports. Hall signed with the Texans in late September from the 49ers' practice squad but was not active for any games. Safety Andre Hal (illness) was activated from the Non-Football Illness list in a corresponding move.
Hall signed a contract with the Texans on Tuesday, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports. Hall heads from the 49ers' practice squad to join the Texans' active roster. The 2017 third-round pick will serve as a depth defensive end in Houston and is likely to play most of his snaps on special teams.
Hall's knee is back to full health, Bryan Strickland of the team's official site reports. "My knee feels real good right now," says Hall. "Everything feels stable, strong." Hall, a third-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, played only nine snaps for the Panthers in his rookie season before landing on injured reserve with a knee injury. The 6-foot-5 defensive end has recovered in time to participate in OTAs with no restrictions, and will enter the 2018 season with the benefit of a full offseason of practice.
Hall (knee) was ruled out of Sunday's game against the Patriots, David Newton of ESPN reports. Hall didn't practice this week due to a sore knee. He'll look to get back on the practice field next week in hopes of playing in Week 5 against the Lions.
