Feiler signed a three-year, $21 million contract with the Chargers on Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Feiler began his career as an undrafted free agent, but became the starting left tackle for the Steelers in 2019. He displayed versatility in 2020, as he shifted to left guard. Feiler now projects to fill in as a starting guard along the Chargers' offensive line in 2021 and beyond.
Feiler (pectoral) was activated from injured reserve Saturday, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports. Feiler suffered a pectoral injury back in Week 14, and he'll finally return to the lineup. The 28-year-old is expected to slot in at left guard for Sunday's wild-card game against the Browns.
Feiler (pectoral) returned to practice on Wednesday. Feiler landed on IR after injuring his shoulder and has missed the previous three games because of this. After participating in Wednesday's practice, the guard is flashing some hope that he may be able to suit up for Sunday's matchup.
Feiler (pectoral) was placed on injured reserve Monday, Missi Matthews of the Steelers' official site reports. The severity of Feiler's injury wasn't revealed. He'll be required to miss at least three weeks, meaning he won't be available until the first round of playoffs at the earliest. J.C. Hassenauer appears to be the next man up at left guard moving forward.
Feiler (shoulder) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game against Buffalo. Feiler sustained the injury in the first quarter. Kevin Dotson will continue to fill in at left guard while Feiler sets his sights on a Week 15 return against the Bengals.
