Alexander agreed to a contract Wednesday with the Jaguars, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports. Alexander was one of three linebackers to reach deals with Jacksonville on Wednesday, joining a pair of special-teams aces in Najee Goode and Ramik Wilson. Considering Alexander didn't see a single defensive snap for the Eagles in 2018, he's likely viewed purely as a special-teams asset, too.
Alexander produced four tackles over 12 games in 2018. Alexander didn't log a single snap on defense, but he was heavily involved on special teams. The 2015 fifth-rounder will become an unrestricted free agent in March.
Alexander (hamstring) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's divisional-round playoff game against the Saints. Alexander has missed four straight games due to a lingering hamstring issue, but he appears to have a shot at suiting up in New Orleans. The fourth-year pro did not play a single defensive snap during the regular season, so expect Alexander to do see most of his action on special teams if he plays Sunday.
Alexander (hamstring) is ruled out for Sunday's game against Washington. Alexander will miss his second straight game due to a hamstring injury. Given that Alexander has played all of his snaps on special teams this year, his absence won't impact IDP leagues.
Alexander (hamstring) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Texans, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports. Alexander has played exclusively on special teams this season, so his absence won't prove consequential in IDP settings.
