  • Buccaneers' Anthony Nelson: Out again Sunday
    By RotoWire Staff

Nelson (hamstring) was ruled out for Sunday's game against the Saints, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports. Nelson hasn't practiced since suffering the hamstring injury Week 9 at Seattle and will miss his second straight game. Fellow OLB Carl Nassib (groin) was also ruled out, leaving Sam Acho and Kahzin Daniels to serve as reserve options behind Shaquil Barrett and Jason Pierre-Paul.

  • Buccaneers' Anthony Nelson: Out Week 10
    By RotoWire Staff

Nelson (hamstring) was ruled out for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, Jenna Laine of ESPN.com reports. Coach Bruce Arians indicated earlier in the week that Nelson is unlikely to play, so it's no surprise to see he won't be suiting up. Newly-signed Kahzin Daniels should serve as Shaq Barrett's backup at right outside linebacker in Nelson's absence.

  • Nelson (hamstring), who missed practice Wednesday, is unlikely to play in Sunday's game against the Cardinals as per head coach Bruce Arians, Carmen Vitali of the team's official site reports. Nelson exited Sunday's overtime loss to the Seahawks after just six snaps from scrimmage and nine on special teams due to his hamstring injury. Arians mentioned Wednesday that Nelson would "probably" not be ready to face Arizona in Week 10, which could leave the just-signed Kahzin Daniels as the primary backup to Shaq Barrett at right outside linebacker versus the Cardinals.

  • Buccaneers' Anthony Nelson: Done for day
    By RotoWire Staff

Nelson (hamstring) won't return to Sunday's game against Seattle, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports. Following fellow edge-rusher Carl Nassib (groin) exiting the contest, the Buccaneers lost another one in the form of Nelson. It's unclear how Nelson picked up the injury, but it's not a good sign that it will force him to miss the remainder of the game. Kevin Minter could be in line to see increased snaps, and it's possible the team will have an update on Nelson's injury following the game or in the coming days.

  • Buccaneers' Anthony Nelson: Good to go
    By RotoWire Staff

Nelson (knee) was a full participant during Wednesday's practice. Early reports suggested that Nelson may miss the season opener with a sprained MCL, but as evidenced by this news, appears ready to go for Week 1. The team may elect to slowly work in the rookie Sunday, especially considering he missed plenty of camp dealing with the injury, but his role remains unclear for now.
