Alexander (groin) is participating in team drills at Wednesday's minicamp session, Jason Wilde of ESPN.com reports. It doesn't sound like there are any lingering effects from the groin injury that prevented Alexander from playing in the regular-season finale against the Lions. After validating the Packers' decision to select him in the first round of the 2018 draft, Alexander appears entrenched as a starter for Green Bay heading into the upcoming campaign and could pretty clearly operate as the team's No. 1 cornerback if Kevin King (hamstring) can't stay healthy.
Alexander (groin) is listed as inactive for Sunday's regular season finale against Detroit. Alexander had been having an above-average rookie campaign, but exited last week's matchup against the Jets with a groin injury, which ultimately kept him off the practice field all week. In his absence, look for Bashaud Breeland to take on some extra snaps in the secondary, potentially in a starting role. Alexander will finish his first year in the league with 66 combined tackles and one interception.
Alexander (groin) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Lions, Michael Cohen of The Athletic reports. Alexander did not practice in any capacity this week, and appears to be trending towards sitting out Green Bay's season finale. The rookie is nursing a groin injury sustained during last week's loss to the Jets.
Alexander (groin) did not practice Thursday, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports. Alexander suffered a groin injury during Sunday's win against the Jets and now misses his second straight practice. The rookie is a candidate to remain sidelined Week 17, in which case Bashaud Breeland would benefit from an uptick in snaps.
Alexander is out for the remainder of Sunday's game with a groin injury. The rookie first rounder was able to leave the game under his own power. With Alexander temporarily out, Bashaud Breeland is the likely candidate to slide into the open corner spot alongside Josh Jackson. Expect more information to surface regarding Alexander's status after the game.
