  Smith (shoulder) will not return to Sunday's game against the Patriots. Smith wasn't targeted before leaving Sunday's regular-season finale with a shoulder injury. Through 11 appearances in 2020, Smith secured 17 of 37 targets for 167 yards. He also played 30 snaps on special teams.

  Smith (shoulder) is active for Sunday's game versus the Patriots. Smith enjoyed a consistent role earlier in the season, but he didn't play an offensive snap over the last two weeks. A similar role can be expected in Week 17, as Jamison Crowder, Breshad Perriman, Denzel Mims and Braxton Berrios are all healthy.

He was a limited participant in practice this week, so he's trending in the right direction for the season finale. His status shouldn't concern fantasy managers, as Smith didn't play a snap on offense over the last two weeks.

Smith was able to participate in practice all week on a limited basis despite a shoulder injury sustained in Week 15, so he was likely leaning more on the "probable" side. Nonetheless, Smith likely isn't a fantasy option, as the last time he secured more than one catch was back in Week 8. In the Week 15 contest where Smith suffered the injury, he had seen 10 special teams snaps and zero on offense prior to exiting.

  Smith (shoulder) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Jets, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports. The 23-year-old sustained the injury during last week's win over the Rams, and his status remains in doubt for Sunday's contest. Smith was able to practice as a limited participant all week, so he should have a decent chance of suiting up this weekend.
