Jones (illness) has been cleared for football activities, Hal Habib of The Palm Beach Post reports. Jones only spent two days on the reserve/COVID-19 list before getting cleared. It appears he had just been potentially exposed to the virus rather than actually testing positive. He can now move forward and look to make an impression at training camp. The 22-year-old is looking to earn a role providing depth on the Dolphins' defensive line.
The Dolphins placed Jones (illness) on the reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday. The undrafted rookie out of Mississippi will need to gain full medical clearance before being eligible to join teammates in training camp.
