The Seahawks cut Emmons from their practice squad Tuesday. Emmons stint with the Seahawks was short, as he was signed Nov. 24 and released Nov. 30. The rookie UDFA has spent time with Seattle and Las Vegas and will now be in search of his third team this season.
Emmons was signed to the Seahawks' practice squad Wednesday, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports. Emmons began the season with the Raiders' practice squad and will now join the Seahawks. The rookie UDFA originally signed with Seattle in May and is now back with the team.
The Raiders waived Emmons on Tuesday. Emmons originally signed with the Seahawks this offseason as an undrafted free agent before being waived and scooped up by the Raiders. The rookie out of Florida Atlantic rushed for 353 yards and seven touchdowns across nine games during his final two collegiate seasons. He will look to latch on to a practice squad during the 2021 campaign.

Emmons and Darius Jackson were both brought in to give Vegas some available bodies in the backfield with Jalen Richard and Theo Riddick both on the reserve/COVID-19 list. While Emmons will have an opportunity to impress the coaching staff while the team's thin at running back, he'll likely still face an uphill battle for a roster spot once the sidelined players return.
