Stevens (hamstring) was waived by the Eagles on Tuesday, Chris McPherson of the team's official site reports. Stevens dealt with hamstring injury early in camp and didn't end up making Philadelphia's initial 53-man roster. The rookie sixth-round pick ended up on the practice squad after clearing waivers.
Stevens is considered week-to-week with a hamstring injury, Zach Berman of The Athletic reports. Stevens hauled in an interception during Wednesday's practice, but he apparently sustained a hamstring issue that will limit his availability. The outside linebacker was selected by the Eagles in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft and should serve as a backup and in a special-teams role if he lands a spot on the 53-man roster.
