Bushman was reverted to the practice squad Monday. The 26-year-old was elevated for Sunday's loss to Washington, failing to register an offensive snap. With Darren Waller (knee) potentially returning in Week 14, Bushman was no longer needed on the active roster.
Bushman was elevated to the active roster Saturday. Bushman will get his second chance with the active roster this season, as Darren Waller (back/knee) has been ruled out for Sunday against Washington. Bushman's lone appearance came in Week 7 against the Eagles, where he saw 11 snaps on offense but failed to tally any stats. The BYU product will likely line up third on the depth chart behind Foster Moreau and Daniel Helm.
Bushman reverted to Las Vegas' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log. Bushman made his debut on the active roster in Week 7 against the Eagles, playing on just 11 offensive snaps. He also was in on two special teams snaps. The tight end failed to record a single target in the contest.
Bushman was elevated to the Raiders' active roster from the practice squad Saturday. With Nick Bowers (neck) on injured reserve, Bushman will get his first promotion to the Raiders' active roster. Bowers operated primarily on special teams, so Bushman will likely have to contribute there before he is able to crack the Raiders' offensive rotations.
Bushman (Achilles) signed with the Raiders on Friday as an undrafted free agent. Bushman ended up going undrafted out of BYU, in no small part due to the fact that an Achilles tear forced him to miss the entire 2020 season. By successfully participating in BYU's pro day, he's already proven that he's ready to resume football activities. He'll work to develop in the Raiders' crowded tight end room.
