Natson (illness) is active for Sunday's Week 10 tilt against the Steelers, Lindsey Thiry of ESPN.com reports. . Natson was dealing with an illness in the latter stages of the week, but he's apparently come back around to good health at this point. The speedster should slot into his usual workload in the return game, and with Brandin Cooks (concussion) out, Natson also moves up to the No. 4 receiver role.
Natson (illness) is questionable for Sunday's game at Pittsburgh, Cameron DaSilva of USA Today reports. Natson was added to the injury report as a non-participant Thursday, and he was also unable to practice Friday. Mike Thomas could be used as the team's top return man should Natson miss Sunday's game.
Natson (illness) didn't participate in Thursday's practice. Natson surfaced on the injury report Thursday, and he'll have to shake the sickness quickly to suit up Sunday against the Steelers. He has played strictly on special teams as a kick returner this season, so the Rams may deploy Mike Thomas in the role if Natson can't go.
Natson caught both of his targets for 12 yards and a touchdown during Saturday's 14-10 win over the Rams. Natson made a five-yard catch on the team's opening drive before adding a seven-yard touchdown grab to tie the game later on in the first quarter. He wasn't involved after that juncture, but it was interesting to see Natson make plays as a receiver and not merely a return man. Still, the Rams boast a strong wideout group and Natson likely will be fighting for scraps in next Saturday's preseason contest against the Broncos.
The Rams tendered Natson to a contract Tuesday, Myles Simmons of the team's official site reports. Natson was an exclusive-rights free agent and he now remains under the Rams' control for the 2019 season. The 25-year-old returned 26 punts for 280 yards and six kicks for 108 yards last season, and will likely reclaim his role as the primary return man in L.A. for 2019.
