The Jets claimed Meander (quadriceps) off waivers from the Raiders on Wednesday. Meander will move across the country after Oakland cut him earlier this month to make room for another defensive back in Isaiah Langley. The 24-year-old didn't see any NFL action as an undrafted rookie in 2018 and will likely have a tough time cracking the Jets' 53-man roster.
Meander (quadriceps) was waived by the Raiders on Tuesday. The undrafted rookie didn't see any game action last season, after he was signed by the team as an undrafted free agent. Meander is now free to sign with another squad. He was let go in order to make room for fellow secondary player Isaiah Langley.
Meander (quadriceps) is ruled out for Sunday's game against the Chiefs, Vic Tafur of The Athletic reports. Meander did not practice Friday. The undrafted rookie appears to have sustained a quadriceps injury during practice this week, and will sit out Oakland's season finale.
