  • Juwan Green: Does not make cut

Green was waived by the Chiefs on Wednesday. Green was buried on Kansas City's receiving depth chart after joining the team in mid August, making his failure to make the 53-man roster unsurprising. He played with the Seattle Sea Dragons in the XFL this past offseason where he recorded 420 yards and six touchdowns on 29 catches. It remains to be seen what his next move will be.

He most recently played for the XFL's Seattle Sea Dragons, where he recorded 420 yards and six touchdowns on 29 receptions. He will now look to make an impression in Kansas City.

The Falcons elevated Green from their practice squad Saturday, Michael Rothstein of ESPN.com reports. • Juwan Green: Slotted in for practice squad role

Green has signed to the Falcons' practice squad, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports. The undrafted free agent from Albany was unable to catch on with Atlanta's 53-man roster, as the Falcons elected to sign zero undrafted rookies amidst an abbreviated offseason. Green is, however, one of just two receivers so far signed to the Falcons' practice squad, joining fellow rookie Chris Rowland on the 16-man reserve roster. He'll remain situated in a developmental role during 2020 unless there are significant injury troubles at wide receiver. Green may also find the field in the more immediate term if he can prove himself as a difference maker on special teams during practice.

  • Falcons' Juwan Green: Joins Falcons' 2020 UDFA class

Green has agreed to terms on a contract with the Falcons, Will McFadden of the team's official site reports. The young wideout from Martinsburg, WV set all kinds of records for the Albany Great Danes after playing out his first two collegiate seasons at Lackawanna College in Pennsylvania. He made a modest impact during his debut season with Albany in 2018, but he absolutely broke out the following season, racking up 83 receptions for 1,386 yards and leading the FCS with 17 touchdowns during 2019. Even with such gaudy college production, given how strong Atlanta's receiving corps is between Nos. 1 and 3, Green will likely have to show competency on special teams to make the 53-man roster.
