Mabry was signed to the Seahawks' practice squad Monday, John Boyle of Seahawks.com reports. Mabry was waived by Seattle on Friday but will return to the team after being added to the practice squad. He appeared predominantly as a special-teams player through the first five weeks of the season and hasn't been elevated to the 53-man roster since Week 7.

Mabry was a casualty during final roster cuts prior to the season but signed with the 53-man roster days later from the practice squad. With other needs on the roster, it looks like the fourth-string tight end was simply the odd man out.
The Seahawks waived Mabry on Tuesday, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports. Mabry is still looking for a chance to make his NFL debut. He also spent last offseason with the Seahawks, after he went undrafted out of Maryland.

Mabry signed with the Seahawks as a free agent in April of 2020 after going undrafted. The Maryland product couldn't secure a spot on the final roster, but he'll aim to carve out a role with the team in 2021.
