Suh has elected to not participate in the Dolphins' offseason conditioning program, Armando Salguero reports. Suh didn't participate in the first half of the program earlier this spring as is his right in the CBA. The good news is that he has completely recovered from knee surgery and should once again be one of the best defensive tackles in the NFL.
Suh (knee) remains on track to be ready for the Dolphins' offseason workouts in April, The Oregonian reports. Suh was unable to attend this year's Pro Bowl after undergoing a cleanup knee procedure in January. Considering the 30-year-old will have had roughly two and a half months to recuperate by the time the Dolphins' offseason program starts up on April 17th, he should have had more than enough time to return to full strength given the minor nature of his surgery. Thus, his expected availability for the start of offseason workouts is certainly warranted.
Suh had a knee cleanup procedure, Joe Schad of the Palm Beach Post reports. Suh's surgery was described as "very minor" by the team and it isn't expected to limit him at all in offseason practices, though it was enough to prevent him from partaking in the Pro Bowl.
Suh (undisclosed) has pulled out of the Pro Bowl due to a minor procedure he has underwent, Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald reports. There is no word yet as to what the exact nature of the procedure was but it is not viewed to be a serious issue or one that will impact him for training camp.
Suh had a career high in tackles this season with 72. Suh was once again one of the best defensive tackles in the game but although his tackle total was up, his big plays were down. He only recorded five sacks, lowest total since 2011, and didn't force any fumbles. The Dolphins defense overall was a disappointment this season and Suh will be relied upon to help lead a revival next year.
