  • Jets' Randall Cobb: Just five catches all season

Cobb caught his lone target for four yards in Sunday's 17-3 win over the Patriots. He finishes the season with five catches for 39 yards and a touchdown on 17 targets. Cobb appeared in 11 games for the Jets, but the 33-year-old wide receiver didn't look like he had much gas left in the tank in 2023. The veteran slot receiver topped 800 yards four times in his career but only once since 2015, and Sunday may have marked his last NFL action.

  • Jets' Randall Cobb: Suiting up Thursday

Cobb is active for Thursday night's game against the Browns. After being a healthy scratch in Week 16, Cobb is back in the mix due to Allen Lazard (illness) being inactive Thursday. In nine games this season, Cobb has caught four of his 16 targets for 35 yards and a TD, a pace that has kept him off the fantasy radar.

  • Jets' Randall Cobb: Not playing Week 16

Cobb (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's contest versus Washington. Cobb didn't catch a pass last week against Miami and has had a very minimal role in the Jets' offense this season, totaling just four catches on 16 targets for 35 yards and a touchdown over nine games. He's been inactive as a coach's decision on multiple occasions, so his benching Sunday doesn't come as a surprise. Garrett Wilson, Allen Lazard, Xavier Gipson, Jason Brownlee and Irvin Charles will be the wideouts available to Trevor Siemian, who is filling in for Zach Wilson (concussion), in the contest.

  • Jets' Randall Cobb: Blanked in shutout loss

Cobb didn't catch any of his three targets in Sunday's 30-0 loss to the Dolphins. Cobb was the intended target on the first of Trevor Siemian's two second-half interceptions, though the veteran wide receiver couldn't do anything about Siemian's egregious overthrow on the play. New York's offense looked markedly worse with Siemian under center than it has for most of the season with Zach Wilson (concussion), whom Siemian replaced in the second quarter.

  • Jets' Randall Cobb: Scores first TD as a Jet

Cobb caught his only target for a 15-yard touchdown in Sunday's 30-6 win over the Texans. Active for only the second time since Week 6, Cobb made the most of his opportunity by catching a 15-yard touchdown to open the scoring in the third quarter. It was Cobb's first touchdown as a member of the Jets, as well as his longest reception with the team.

  • Jets' Randall Cobb: Back on inactive list

Cobb (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Falcons. Cobb had been inactive for the Jets' previous four games before he suited up for the Black Friday loss to the Dolphins while the coaching staff elected to make fellow receiver Allen Lazard a healthy scratch. While suiting up for the first time since Week 6, Cobb played just seven snaps on offense and went without a target. The Jets have elected to activate Lazard for Sunday following a one-week benching, so Cobb will find himself as the odd man out as New York keeps five receivers active.

  • Jets' Randall Cobb: Suits up Friday

Cobb is active for Friday's game against the Dolphins, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports. Cobb returns to the mix Week 12, with Allen Lazard having been made a healthy scratch versus Miami. The veteran slot man remains a speculative fantasy lineup option, but Cobb may see some looks Friday as the Jets look to mix things up on offense with Tim Boyle starting at quarterback. Cobb had been a healthy inactive for both of the Jets' previous two contests.

  • Jets' Randall Cobb: Inactive again Sunday

Cobb (coach's decision) is listed as inactive Sunday in Las Vegas. After being active for each of the Jets' first six games of the season, Cobb sat out Week 8 due to a shoulder injury and now has been a healthy scratch in back-to-back contests. With Jason Brownlee (coach's decision) also sitting out, Garrett Wilson, Allen Lazard, Xavier Gipson, Irvin Charles and Malik Taylor will be the options at wide receiver for quarterback Zach Wilson.

  • Jets' Randall Cobb: Inactive Monday

Cobb (coach's decision) is inactive for Monday's night's game against the Chargers. Cobb didn't carry an injury designation for the contest, and with the veteran pass catcher a healthy scratch Monday night, Garrett Wilson, Allen Lazard, Xavier Gipson, Irvin Charles and Malik Taylor are available to handle the Jets' Week 9 WR duties.

  • Jets' Randall Cobb: Logs full practice

Cobb (shoulder) practiced fully Thursday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports. Cobb was inactive for the Jets' Week 8 win over the Giants, but his return to a full practice Thursday sets the stage for the veteran slot man to be available for Monday night's game against the Chargers. However, with just three catches for 20 yards on 12 targets through six games this season, Cobb is off the fantasy lineup radar.

  • Jets' Randall Cobb: Inactive Sunday

Cobb (shoulder) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Giants. Coming out of the Jets' Week 7 bye, Cobb didn't practice Wednesday, but then logged limited sessions Thursday and Friday before heading into the weekend listed as questionable. Now that it has been confirmed that the veteran slot man will be unavailable Sunday, Xavier Gipson is a candidate to see added Week 8 WR opportunities behind Garrett Wilson and Allen Lazard, with Jason Brownlee and Malik Taylor also mixing in.

  • Jets' Randall Cobb: Questionable for Week 8

Cobb (shoulder) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Giants, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports. Cobb didn't practice Wednesday coming out of the Jets' Week 7 bye, then logged limited participation in practices Thursday and Friday. If the veteran slot receiver sits Sunday, rookies Xavier Gipson and Jason Brownlee would be the top candidates for additional snaps with New York having traded wide receiver Mecole Hardman to Kansas City last week.

  • Jets' Randall Cobb: Returns to practice

Cobb (shoulder) returned to practice Thursday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports. As expected, the veteran wideout logged a limited practice session Thursday after recording a DNP on Wednesday. Cobb has recorded only three receptions for 20 yards this season, despite playing on 49 percent of the Jets' offensive snaps. The 33-year-old now appears to be trending in the right direction to play in this Sunday's contest against the Giants.

  • Jets' Randall Cobb: Misses Wednesday's practice

Cobb missed Wednesday's practice due to a shoulder issue, but he's expected to return to the field Thursday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports. Cobb presumably sustained the injury in the team's Week 6 victory over the Eagles prior to the Jets' Week 7 bye. If he does in fact return to practice Thursday, the veteran pass catcher should be in good shape to play Sunday against the Giants. Despite playing at least 35 percent of the Jets' snaps on offense in each of the team's first six games, Cobb has recorded just three receptions for 20 yards on 12 targets.

  • Jets' Randall Cobb: Catches two-point conversion

Cobb didn't catch any of his three targets but scored a two-point conversion in Sunday's 20-14 win over the Eagles. After Breece Hall's eight-yard rushing touchdown gave New York its first lead at 18-14 with 1:46 remaining in the fourth quarter, Cobb helped the Jets stretch their advantage to six points by catching a two-point conversion over the middle on an extended play. With just three catches on the season, Cobb remains off the fantasy radar.

  • Jets' Randall Cobb: Invisible again in Week 5

Cobb didn't catch his lone target in Sunday's 31-21 win over the Broncos. Cobb has just three catches for 20 yards on nine targets through five games with the Jets. The veteran slot receiver played 35 percent of offensive snaps Sunday, which marked a season low, and Cobb's usage could continue to trend down unless his production improves.

  • Jets' Randall Cobb: Four targets in Week 4

Cobb caught two of four targets for eight yards in Sunday's 23-20 loss to the Chiefs. Cobb's four targets matched his total from his first three games with the Jets. With just three catches for 20 yards on the season, Cobb's a fantasy non-entity despite getting the third-most playing time among New York's wide receivers behind Garrett Wilson and Allen Lazard.

  • Jets' Randall Cobb: Hail Mary clanks off hand

Cobb caught one of two targets for 12 yards in Sunday's 15-10 loss to the Patriots. Cobb finally made his first catch as a member of the Jets after going two games without a target. He then had a chance to be the hero on the game's final play as Zach Wilson's Hail Mary throw deflected right in Cobb's direction, but Cobb had the ball clank off his arm rather than turn into a game-winning, 54-yard touchdown.

  • Jets' Randall Cobb: Zero catches through two games

Cobb failed to bring in his only target in Sunday's 30-10 loss to the Cowboys. Through two games with the Jets, Cobb has two targets and no catches. Without Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) throwing him the ball, Cobb doesn't seem to have enough left in the tank at age 33 to meaningfully contribute.

  • Jets' Randall Cobb: No catches as Rodgers goes down

Cobb didn't catch his only target in Monday's 22-16 overtime win over the Bills. Cobb followed Aaron Rodgers from Green Bay to New York in the offseason, but the longtime teammates won't get a chance to play together in 2023, as Rodgers suffered a season-ending torn Achilles on the Jets' first drive. Cobb should continue to fill a depth role for New York's Zach Wilson-led offense in Week 2 against one of Cobb's other former teams, the Cowboys.
