    Crawley (hamstring) was activated off the Saints' reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday, Amie Just of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports. Crawley was placed on the Saints' reserve/COVID-19 list a couple of weeks ago after testing positive for COVID-19. The cornerback is still on the Saints' injured reserve list for his hamstring injury, but he is expected to get activated to New Orleans' active roster at some point in the foreseeable future.

The cornerback was designed to return from injured reserve Wednesday before testing positive for COVID-19. He'll likely be inactive in Week 8, whether due to illness or the injury. Bradley Roby was acquired in early September and will continue to help fill in for Crawley in the secondary.

Crawley was a part of the Dolphins' organization throughout most of 2019 but was waived from injured reserve in mid-December. The shoulder injury that ended Crawley's season seems to have subsided, and he should be ready for the commencement of the Raiders' offseason program.

    The Saints have tendered Crawley at the original-round level, Josh Katzenstein of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports. Crawley was a starter through the Saints' first six games last season, but he saw only 62 defensive snaps through the rest of the year after Eli Apple's arrival in Week 8. Considering that Crowley went undrafted in 2016, the Saints won't get any compensation if he signs elsewhere but will have the option to match any deal he receives on the open market.
