Henry was waived by the Eagles on Sunday, Martin Frank of The Delaware News Journal reports. The 27-year-old signed with Philadelphia in May but was cut Sunday to make room on the roster for cornerback Steven Nelson. Henry has appeared in one game over the past two years and is now in search of a new team just before the start of camp.... See More ... See Less

Ravens' Willie Henry: Nursing back injury
Henry was placed on injured reserve Tuesday due to a back injury, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports. It previously wasn't clear what sort of injury sent Henry to IR. Regardless, the third-year defensive end is now guaranteed to miss at least the next eight games of the season. Look for seventh-round rookie Zach Sieler, who was a two-time consensus All-American during his final two seasons at Ferris State, to get a chance to help fill the 27.3 defensive snaps per game Henry vacated.... Ravens' Willie Henry: Nearing return to practice
Henry (abdomen) could return to practice this week, Clifton Brown of the Raven's official site reports. Coach John Harbaugh said, "there's a chance" that Henry could practice ahead of Week 4's tilt against the Steelers. The second-year defensive lineman is still considered week-to-week as he recovers from sports hernia surgery but he appears to be making progress. Baltimore will slot Henry into the defensive scheme whenever the 2016 fourth-rounder is able to return to the field.... See More ... See Less -
Ravens' Willie Henry: Ruled out for Thursday
Henry (sports hernia) will not suit up against the Bengals on Thursday, freelance NFL writer Jeff Zrebiec reports. Henry is still recovering from offseason sports hernia surgery and remains week-to-week. The second-year defensive lineman looks in line for a key defensive role whenever he does recover, but Brandon Williams will remain the uncontested starter at Baltimore's right defensive end position for the time being.... Ravens' Willie Henry: Healthy, thriving in camp
Henry turned in another impressive practice Tuesday, Garrett Downing of the team's official site reports. The Michigan product spent his rookie season on injured reserve, but Henry has hit the ground running since the start of camp. Henry (6-foot-3, 300 pounds) was a disruptive player in college, racking up 10.0 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks from the defensive interior in his final season in Ann Arbor. Baltimore is deep along the defensive line, but Henry can help his cause towards locking down a starting role if he continues to make waves on the practice field.... See More ... See Less
