Colorado suspended Zhuravylov indefinitely for an undisclosed reason. He also returned to Russia.
Zhuravylov signed a two-year, entry-level deal with the Avalanche in May but his short time in North America wasn't very impressive. The 22-year-old blueliner tallied one assist in 14 games with AHL Colorado. It's unclear if the team plans on bringing him back to the AHL level this season.
