Avalanche's Erik Johnson: Picks up another two assists

Johnson registered two assists and received 24:28 of ice time during Monday's game against Pittsburgh.

Johnson also saw 2:35 of power-play time Monday and picked up a power-play assist on Gabriel Landeskog's game-tying goal. Johnson then assisted on Landeskog's game-winning goal in overtime. Per usual, the defenseman filled out the stat sheet with four shots on goal, a blocked shot and six hits. Even though he's already 28 years old, there could still be a breakout offensive season from the 2006 No. 1 overall pick, which would pair nicely with the solid peripheral statistics he posts annually.
