Avalanche's Mikhail Maltsev: Joins taxi squad

The Avalanche added Maltsev to their taxi squad Monday, Mike Chambers of The Denver Post reports.

Maltsev will serve as insurance in case any regulars on Colorado's depth chart enter COVID-19 protocol. The 23-year-old hasn't recorded a point in six NHL games this season.
