MacKinnon (lower body) joined his teammates on the ice Monday as part of the NHL's Return to Play Plan, Ryan S. Clark of The Athletic reports.

MacKinnon was originally expected to miss 1-2 weeks due to his lower-body issue and it's now been close to three months since the league went on hiatus. Despite playing in just 69 games this season, the 24-year-old forward reached the 35-goal and 90-point marks for the third straight season. Heading into the postseason, the world-class center should be a near-lock for most playoff pools and also a top-end DFS option.
