Barrie contributed a goal, a power-play assist and an even-strength assist in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Hurricanes.

Barrie played a role in all three of his team's goals, notching his first multi-point effort since Jan. 17. The 25-year-old blueliner's 4.3 shooting percentage is his lowest mark since the 2012-13 season, and he has just eight points with the extra man after at least doubling that total in each of his previous two campaigns. Throw in a career-worst minus-26 rating, and it's easy to see why Barrie owners have been disappointed with his output for a league-worst Avalanche team.
