Avalanche's Valeri Nichushkin: Deposits shorthanded tally

Nichushkin scored a shorthanded goal on three shots in Friday's 7-3 win over the Kraken.

Nichushkin was the first to a loose puck and went unchallenged to the net for a goal at 6:39 of the first period. The 26-year-old winger has produced points in four of his five appearances this year, with one goal on the power play and one while shorthanded. He's added a pair of assists, eight shots on net and six hits.
